Scenes Panel

The column on the far left of the studio, always visible — it is not a tab and does not have to be opened. It holds every scene of the session in two groups.

Dynamic Scene (top)

A single block with its own thumbnail. The Dynamic Scene arranges whoever is on stage automatically using layouts and branding — nothing is positioned by hand. Clicking it selects it for editing.

Pro Scenes (below)

The scrollable list of scenes built by hand in the editor, one tile each, with a thumbnail and the scene name. At the bottom sits the Add Scene button, which opens the create-scene dialog.

What you can do with a scene tile

ActionResult
ClickSelects the scene for editing
HoverReveals a play button that puts the scene on air
Right-click (or the ⋮ button on the tile)Opens the scene menu
Drag the handleReorders the scene in the list

There is no double-click to go live and the name is not editable in place — renaming is done from the scene menu.

Live and preview marking

The scene currently on air is highlighted in the list (and carries a live label). In studio mode the selected scene is the one being edited while the highlighted one keeps playing to viewers. There are no “PGM” / “PVW” badges.

The scene menu

Right-click a scene tile (or use the ⋮ button):

  • Play scene — puts it on air
  • Rename
  • Duplicate
  • Stinger / Transition — the transition played when switching to this scene
  • Background Color — opens a colour picker with an “Overwrite Background Color” checkbox, so the scene can use its own background instead of the session default
  • Share scene — export the scene so it can be used elsewhere
  • Remove — deletes the scene, after a confirmation. It is not offered for the scene that is currently on air during a live session.

The menu item is Remove, not “Delete”, and there is no “Set as default” — the scene a broadcast starts with is chosen in the Go Live panel under “Starting scene”.

Opened from a scene shown inside the scene editor, the same menu offers Paste and Add Layer instead of Rename/Duplicate.
