Text Layer

Text Layers display customizable text overlays on the broadcast scene with full typography control.

Editing Text

Double-click a text layer on the scene (or select it) to edit the text in place. The text box gets focus right away, so you can start typing. Line breaks are kept exactly as you type them.

Click anywhere outside the layer to finish editing. Your changes are applied to the scene as you type.

Text Styling

Use the layer toolbar to change how the text looks.

Font Options

Option	Values
Font	Any font from the list above
Size	In pixels
Weight	Normal, or 100 to 900
Style	Normal or italic
Decoration	None or underline
Text color	Any color, with transparency
Background color	Any color, with transparency (use full transparency for no background)

Layout Options

Option	Values
Horizontal alignment	Left, center, right
Vertical alignment	Top, center, bottom
Line height	In pixels
Letter spacing	In pixels
Padding	Inner space around the text, in pixels
Corner radius	Rounds the corners of the background
Opacity	0 to 100
Rotation	Rotate the whole layer

AI Text Creation

You can ask the AI assistant to add a text layer for you. It can set the text, position, font, size, weight, style, decoration, alignment (horizontal and vertical), line height, letter spacing, padding, text color and background color in one go.

Best Practices

Choose readable fonts - Sans-serif for broadcast
Use contrasting colors - Ensure text visibility
Add padding - Space around text looks professional
Test on preview - Verify appearance before going live
Consider mobile viewers - Use larger font sizes
