Project Management
Projects (also called Events) are containers that organise sessions, speakers and collaborators in evmux. Each project can have multiple broadcast sessions, a team of speakers, and collaborators with shared access.
Overview
With a project you can:
- Create and edit project details
- Upload a logo and crop it
- Set the project’s time zone
- Schedule start and end dates
- Manage collaborators
- Manage speakers

Logo
After you choose a logo file, a cropper lets you fit it to a 500x500 square. You can replace or delete the logo later.
Time zone
New projects start with your computer’s local time zone pre-selected. You can change it to any time zone in the list.
Start and end times
If the end time is earlier than the start time, evmux treats the end as the next day and shows the resulting date.
After saving, a confirmation appears: Event “your project name” successfully saved.
Editing a project
Open the project and change any of the fields above.
- If you leave the page with unsaved changes, evmux asks whether you want to discard them.
- After saving, a confirmation appears: Event “your project name” successfully updated.
- Some project settings can only be changed by the account that owns the project.
Best practices
- Use descriptive names so projects are easy to tell apart.
- Set the correct time zone. It affects scheduling.
- Add a logo for professional branding.
- Save your changes before leaving the page.
- Check your permissions if you cannot edit a project you did not create.
