Portrait Layer Controls (hide / lock in dual mode)

Per-layer controls that let you hide or lock a layer in the portrait orientation while leaving it visible and editable in landscape. They appear only in Dual Streaming Mode.

Location

Inside the layers panel, on the currently selected layer. The controls appear as an extra row below the standard layer row when:

  • the session is in Dual Streaming Mode, and
  • the layer is selected.

If you are not in dual mode, this row is not shown.

Elements

“Portrait:” label

The prefix of the controls row.

Portrait hide toggle

An icon button. When on, the layer is left out of the portrait feed but stays visible in landscape.

Portrait lock toggle

An icon button. When on, the layer’s position and size in portrait cannot be moved or resized. Useful when you want to fix a portrait-specific composition without affecting the landscape layout.

Behavior notes

  • Changes apply to the preview immediately.
  • The hide and lock state for portrait is saved with the scene.
  • These controls work together with the orientation-label badge on the layer toolbar, which shows which orientation you are editing.
