Live Labels
While you broadcast, evmux shows a small strip of status labels over the scene in the top-left corner of the preview area. The labels stay visible above the scene content.
What the labels show
- A Live label with a red pulsing dot while the broadcast is running.
- An Exclusive Talk label naming the person who currently has the microphone.
- A warning that the other orientation is not in use when you are dual streaming and only one orientation is being sent.
That is the complete list.
No recording badge, no running timer
The strip does not show a recording badge and does not show an elapsed-time counter. Do not look for a running clock over the scene.
The only broadcast duration evmux shows is your plan’s maximum broadcast time. You will find it in the go-live panel before you start.
Tips
- Check the Live label before you end a broadcast, so you know you are still on air.
- Watch the Exclusive Talk label so you know who the audience can hear.
- In dual streaming, a missing-orientation warning means one of your two outputs is not being used.
