AI Production Assistant

Overview

The AI Production Assistant is the help system inside the studio. It knows how evmux works and answers questions about it, in text or by voice, and it can point at the real control on screen with Show me. It is a guide, not an operator: it does not add layers, switch scenes, change settings or do anything else to your studio.

What it answers

  • Where a setting or button is, and what it does.
  • How to do a task, step by step, in the order to do it.
  • Why something might be happening, when you describe a symptom.
  • What your plan includes and where its limits are.

Chat interface

  • Type in the box at the bottom of the panel, or use the microphone icon to dictate. With voice input, a message is sent automatically after 2 seconds of silence.
  • Answers stream in as they are written. Many include a Show me button that highlights the control in the studio and walks you through the steps.
  • The conversation stays in the panel until you clear it.

Allowance

Every plan includes a monthly AI allowance, shown as a percentage under the message box. When it is used up, the assistant still answers, but with shorter replies from its knowledge base until the allowance resets.

When you want actions, not answers

To have an AI operate the studio, connect your own AI client through MCP. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and similar tools can then read your scenes and layers and make changes on your instruction, using your own AI subscription. See Connect your own AI to the studio (MCP).
