How to Display Rolling Credits on Stream

The Movie Credits widget creates cinematic rolling credits for your stream. Choose between a classic movie-style scroll or the iconic Star Wars crawl effect.

When to Use

Ending a show with credits (thanking team, sponsors, viewers)
Creating dramatic text reveals (Star Wars-style)
Displaying acknowledgments or special thanks
Professional show endings

Steps

Open the Layers tab. Apps work on both scene types:
- Dynamic Scene: expand Apps & Widgets -> Add from marketplace
- Pro scene: click Add New Layer -> Apps & Widgets
Search for “Movie Credits” and click to add it

Step 2: Choose Animation Style

Style	Description
Star Wars Crawl	Perspective text that scrolls into the distance. Auto-applies gold text, Gothic A1 font, justify alignment, and dark background
Movie Style	Classic vertical scroll. Auto-applies white text, Roboto font, center alignment

Step 3: Enter Your Credits Text

Click the text editor in settings
Enter your credits content using the rich text editor
Use headings, line breaks, and formatting as needed
Max 3000 characters

Step 4: Configure Settings

Loop	On	Repeat animation continuously
Text Align	Center	Justify / Center / Left / Right
Side Spacing	50	Side padding (disabled in Star Wars mode)
Auto Switch on End	Off	Switch scene when credits finish

Step 5: Set Up Auto Scene Switch (Optional)

For a professional ending:

Enable Auto Switch on End
Select the target scene (e.g., an “Offline” or “Thanks for watching” scene)
When credits finish scrolling, evmux automatically switches scenes
Works best with Loop off so credits play once then switch

Tips

Star Wars mode looks best with gold text on a dark/black background
Loop on for continuous credits during a “thank you” segment
Loop off + Auto Switch for an automated show ending
Special fonts like Honk, Bungee Tint, and Bungee Spice have built-in colors and ignore the text color setting
Use a slower speed (2-3) so viewers can read the names
Full-screen the credits layer for maximum impact
