Comments and Chat
Evmux provides tools for managing live comments from streaming platforms and internal chat between producers and speakers.
Live Comments
Each comment shows the author’s name, avatar, the comment text, the time it was posted, and the platform it came from. Comments can be starred, marked as shown on stream, and can carry membership and Super Chat information.

Comment Display
Filters
- Super Chat - Monetized comments only
- Star - Comments you starred
- Shown - Already displayed on stream
- Not Shown - Not yet shown
- Search - Text-based search
Display on Stream
Comments can be shown as banners:
- Click a comment to show or hide it
- The comment appears in the banner area
- It hides automatically after the auto-hide time (configurable, 5-100 seconds)
- The platform badge is displayed

Auto-Hide
- Configurable timeout (5-100 seconds)
- A progress circle shows the remaining time
- Can be disabled per session

- Shows an audio waveform while you talk

Best Practices
- Monitor actively - Watch comments during broadcast
- Star important comments - Find them easily later
- Use auto-hide - Don’t leave comments on screen too long
- Block trolls quickly - Keep your stream positive
- Respond when possible - Engage with your audience
- Use PTT sparingly - Don’t interrupt speakers unnecessarily
