Media Gallery

Uploaded images, videos, audio and documents live in the media gallery.

There is no “Media” tab. The gallery is a popup, opened from inside a Pro scene:

  1. Select a Pro scene. The media gallery is reached through the layer chooser, which only Pro scenes have. The Dynamic Scene is not layer-less — its Layers tab holds the Apps & Widgets, Logo, Video Clips, Overlay and Background accordeons — but it has no free-form layer list, so media files go into a Pro scene (or into the Dynamic Scene’s Video Clips / Overlay / Logo sections, each of which opens its own picker).
  2. Open the Layers tab in the left-side tabs panel.
  3. Click Add New Layer.
  4. Choose Media Files — the gallery opens.

The same gallery opens wherever else a file has to be picked (choosing an intro video, a brand graphic, a frame), sometimes filtered to one file type.

  • A Search box for finding a file by name.
  • A filter with checkboxes for Image, Video, Audio, Doc and Font — tick the types to show.
  • A grid of thumbnails of everything uploaded to the account.
  • Add Media — the green button; its dropdown holds Upload from Disk (the only upload button; there is nothing called “Upload New” or “Browse”), Generate with AI and Free Media Stock. Files can also be dragged from the computer onto anywhere in the studio.
  • Evmux public media — a library of ready-made media provided by evmux.
  • An AI image button that generates a new image from a prompt and adds it to the gallery.

Clicking a file adds it to the current scene as a layer. Files stay in the gallery for reuse in other scenes and other sessions; they count toward the account’s storage.
