Slideshows

Slideshows allow you to display a sequence of images or PDF pages within your broadcast, with automatic or manual navigation.

Creating Slideshows

A slideshow is a layer of a Pro scene — the Dynamic Scene cannot hold one.

Select a Pro scene and open the Layers tab.
Click Add New Layer and choose Slideshow. The chooser lists the slideshows of this session; clicking one puts it straight into the scene.
Click New Slideshow to build a new one. The editor opens with the name field, the playback settings, an Add Slide button and, while creating, a Create button that places the finished slideshow in the scene.

To edit a slideshow already in the scene, double-click it on the scene, or use Edit in the chooser’s ⋮ menu.

From Images

Click Add Slide and pick images — one slide each. Reorder them by dragging in the Slides list.

From PDFs

Click Add Slide and pick a PDF. Each page becomes its own slide (up to 100 pages), and “Converting…” shows while it processes.

PowerPoint and Keynote files cannot be used directly — export the deck to PDF and add that.

Slide Controls

On-Screen Controls

When a slideshow layer is selected, controls appear on it:

Slide indicator - Shows the current slide number
Previous (<) - Go to the previous slide
Next (>) - Go to the next slide
Dropdown - Jump to any slide

The controls sit at the bottom center of the layer and scale with the layer size, so they never become too small to use. They adapt to portrait and landscape mode.

Manual Control and Speaker Access

When Auto play is off, the slideshow is under manual control. You, as the editor, can always change slides. You can also let speakers control it:

Turn off Auto play (manual control mode).
Click Add Speaker.
Select speakers from the participant list.

Speakers you add see the slide controls in their own view. Whoever changes the slide, everyone sees the same one: the current slide stays in sync for you, your speakers and the broadcast.

Auto-Play Behavior

When Auto play is on:

The timer starts as soon as the layer becomes visible.
After the slide duration, the next slide shows.
With Loop on, the show restarts from the first slide. With Loop off, it stops on the last slide.

Presenter Notes (reading something the audience cannot see)

Slides have no hidden notes field — everything on a slide is part of the layer, so anyone watching sees it. To read a script or reminders while presenting slides, add the Teleprompter app to the scene: it renders for the producer only and never reaches guests, the broadcast or the recording. Put your notes there and step through the slides as usual.
